John J. McAulay Legal Educator Award

This award is presented to a P.A.D. member for their contribution to legal education based upon a lifetime of dedication to the principles and ideals of integrity, compassion, courage and professional service in keeping with the spirit of our departed brother John J. MacAulay (O'Niell Chapter).

Earl Langdon Neal Trailblazer Award

Named for Earl Langdon Neal, the first African American member initiated into Phi Alpha Delta in 1951, this award is presented to an African American member who has broken barriers in their legal career or has been a catalyst for change in the legal profession throughout their career.

Winner: Wendell Taylor (Robert E. Redding Alumni Chapter)


Maura D. Corrigan Lifetime Service Award

Named for Justice Maura D. Corrigan, the first female member initiatied into Phi Alpha Delta in 1970, this award is presented to a female member of Phi Alpha Delta who has dedicated their career to service to the community as evidenced by time serving civic organizations or public institutions.

Winner: Judge Alexandra Manning (Arthur Chapter)


Peggy A. Quince Luminary Award

Named for Justice Peggy Quince, one of the first African American woman initiated into Phi Alpha Delta, this award is presented to an African-American member who has broken barriers in their legal career or has been a catalyst for change in the legal profession throughout their career.

Winner: Kim Keenan (Jefferson Chapter)


Dan D. Halpin Award

This award is given to a District Justice who has served for at least five consecutive years, or seven years combined if a break in service has occurred, and has consistently discharged their duties at a high level of achievement over a long-term, in the best traditions of the Fraternity.

Meritorious Service Award

The Meritorious Service Award is awarded to a Fraternity member who has provided meritorious service to the Fraternity. It is given in recognition of service provided to the Fraternity notably in excess of the ordinary.
