P.A.D. Volunteer Opportunities

Are you interested in becoming a volunteer for Phi Alpha Delta?

We are seeking motivated P.A.D. members who would like to give their time and talent to help drive our fraternity mission and core values. 

There are several ways to volunteer. We have District Justice, Assistant District Justice, Alumni Advisor positions and many committees that need creative and willing members to help. Here are a few brief position descriptions. Click here for a list of Law Schools and Districts.

District Justice:
A District leader working with the International Executive Board (IEB), Executive Office, and each law and alumni chapter in the District to advance integrity, compassion and courage through service to the student, the school, the profession and the community. The District Justice is the ambassador and “face” of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International in the District and is the District’s fraternal connection with and between students and alumni.  For the full DJ position description, please click here.  

Assistant District Justice:
Assistant District Justices work closely with the District Justice to aid in successful chapter operations. Key attributes of an ADJ are team building and communication skills, the desire to help recruit new members, and belief in P.A.D. core values.

Alumni Advisor:
Alumni Advisors works with Law Chapter leadership to help create professional networking opportunities and professional programming. They advise on leadership, help recruit new members, and develop relationships with area and national alumni. The Alumni Advisor focuses on one chapter. The Alumni Advisor can be a P.A.D. law alum in any chapter.

Alumni Chapter Officer:
We are always looking for local alumni to charter, reactivate or help out with our Alumni Chapters. For a list of Alumni Chapters, please click here. This is a great opportunity to grow local professional connections and enhance your P.A.D. network.

Diversity Equity and Inclusion Council:
Work with your fellow brothers and sisters to help establish our Diversity Equity and Inclusion efforts! This is an excellent way to help grow our commitment to our core values.

Advisory Councils:  Do you have a particular passion for one of the following councils, please volunteer!

  • Law School Advisory Council 
  • Alumni Advisory Council
  • Pre-Law Advisory Council
  • International Relations Advisory Council
  • District Justice Advisory Council

Phi Alpha Delta International Foundation Trustee:
The Foundation is the 501(c)(3) charitable organization that supports Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International educational and leadership initiatives. We are looking for creative trustees who have backgrounds in fundraising, planned giving, strategic planning and philanthropy.

COVID-19 Task Force: Work with a core group of staff and volunteers to create new and effective of ways of programming, recruiting and increasing chapter/member communication as we deal with the COVID pandemic.

Committee Member:
We have several national initiatives such as marketing, international expansion, improving our national events, diversity and more. Please let us know what you are looking to do, and we can work with you to find the right committee or initiative for your interest and talent.

Speaker/Presenter for Webinars and Chapter Events:
With most schools continuing to operate remotely, chapters will be looking for interesting topics to present to the membership.
