Why Join P.A.D.?
Phi Alpha Delta is a professional law fraternity that was established on November 8, 1902. Professional fraternities are organizations whose primary purpose is to promote the interests of a particular profession and whose membership is comprised
of students and graduates in that particular field of education or practice. Phi Alpha Delta is one of the largest legal organizations in the United States.
Phi Alpha Delta has members who are university/college students, law school students, lawyers, judges, senators, Congress representatives, Supreme Court Justices, and former U.S. Presidents. Over 330,000 members have been initiated since its
establishment in 1902 into 342 pre-law chapters, 203 law chapters and over 100 alumni chapters.
Members benefit from a vast professional network, supplemental education, leadership development, grants and scholarships, discounts and membership benefits, internship and job opportunities, fraternalism, and more.
We also offer a growing list of service and volunteer positions and diversity, equity, and inclusion resources, training, and programming.
