Deadline to Hold Elections for LAW Chapters

The election of new officers is necessary to ensure continuity within your chapter and the Fraternity. The Fraternity expects all law chapters to hold elections no later than February 15th each year. Election procedures should be established at least two months in advance, and outgoing officers should encourage qualified members to run for office by the end of January.

All chapter members in good standing are eligible to run for officer positions.

More details on elections procedures and transitions can be found on pages 10-11 of the Chapter Operations Guide.

Your chapter must report election results/any officer changes here: www.PAD.org/page/LawOfficers
