P.A.D. Speaker Series: Alcohol and Beverage Control Law Tuesday, October 5th at 8:00 PM Eastern (5:00 PM Pacific) Join Phi Alpha Delta on October 5, 2021 at 8:00 pm Eastern Time/5:00 pm Pacific Time for a P.A.D. Speaker Series presentation on alcohol and beverage control law. In the United States, each state has the authority to regulate the production, sale, and distribution of alcohol within its borders. These laws exist for a variety of reasons, including fostering responsibility in consumption of alcoholic beverages; protecting citizens by assuring lawful, proper, and fair trade practices to maintain the stability of the industry; and protecting the collection of state taxes imposed on alcoholic beverages. This means state and local jurisdictions may have their own requirements in addition to federal requirements. State laws and regulations vary widely from state to state, and may be more restrictive than federal regulations. Compliance with alcohol and beverage control laws, also known as ABC laws, is critical for business owners. In this presentation, hear from P.A.D. members Grace Yang (Wilson Chapter) and Jay Ross (Paterson Chapter, New Jersey Statewide Alumni Chapter), who will share their different perspectives and experiences on a variety of alcohol and beverage control law topics. This is a free presentation for P.A.D. members. Please click the 'Register' button above to RSVP for this session. Our Moderator & Presenters:
