International Chief Tribune Hon. Kimberly Gallant

Biography

Kimberly A. Gallant has served as a judge with the Magistrate Court of Gwinnett County for the past 9 years. Most recently, she was elected to the Superior Court of Gwinnett County and will assume that office on January 1, 2025. Before taking the bench, Judge Gallant worked as a staff attorney and as a prosecutor. She received her undergraduate degree in criminal justice from the University of Georgia in 1997 (Go Dawgs!) and graduated from Georgia State University College of Law in 2000. She is a past Justice of Russell Chapter.

Judge Gallant currently serves as the Chief Tribune for the International Tribunal. She began serving the Fraternity when she was appointed as District XVII Justice in 2005. Judge Gallant was selected as the Stan Jones Outstanding District Justice in 2007. Judge Gallant was elected to serve on the International Executive Board in 2008 and again in 2010. Judge Gallant took a biennium off from the IEB to have her second child and was reappointed as the District XVII Justice. Judge Gallant rejoined the IEB in 2014 and served two terms before joining the International Tribunal in 2018.

Her favorite benefit of P.A.D. membership is meeting people who have become family. Significantly, she met her twin, District I Justice, Melody Crick Peters, at the 2005 Summer Meeting in Dallas, TX. Together, they formed District 117. Then, Judge Gallant met former IEB Member, Carley Dirks, when Carley was a law student. When Carly became the ADJ for District I, District 117.5 was formed.

Judge Gallant is active in the Girl Scout Movement and has been a Troop Leader since 2013.
