About Pre-Law Conference

The Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Conference, Mock Trial Competition, and Law Expo is an educational and leadership opportunity where pre-law members meet fellow P.A.D.s, law school representatives from colleges and universities throughout the United States, and vendors including LSAT prep company representatives.

The 2025 conference will take place November 5-8, 2025 at the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center Hotel in Alexandria, VA.

Conference programming focuses on topics that educate members on leadership development, law school preparation, and current law-related topics and issues. We also provide time for attendees to sight-see around Washington, D.C. and visit local law schools.

Fee Waivers

For the 2025 Conference, we will once again offer one registration fee waiver per active chapter, meaning your chapter can select a member to register for free. After registration opens, chapter should decide which member of the chapter will use the fee waiver and email the name of that person to prelaw@pad.org. This fee waiver only covers the P.A.D. registration fee, not hotel room costs or other travel expenses.

Chapter officers must decide which member of the chapter will use the registration fee waiver and email the name of that person to prelaw@pad.org by October 8, 2025.

Contact the Executive Office at prelaw@pad.org for more information on registering a member for free.

Payment Plans

We also offer deferred payment options and interest-free and customizable payment plans to students/chapters that wish go to the Conference. Plans are incredibly flexible in terms of due dates and amounts.

Click here to enroll in a Pre-Law Conference payment plan. Contact xena@pad.org with payment plan questions.

Attendance Grants

Phi Alpha Delta offers a limited number of grants for students to attend our annual Pre-Law Conference. To apply, students must be a current P.A.D. pre-law student member in good standing planning to attend the 2025 Pre-Law Conference

Click here to apply for a Pre-Law Conference Grant by midnight Pacific Time on Monday, September 15, 2025.

Law Expo

The Law Expo portion of the P.A.D. Pre-Law Conference is host to law schools, law school prep, and LSAT/test prep companies. The expo is designed to help students make an educated decision about pursuing a legal degree and law career through one-on-one meetings, booth visitation, giveaways, presentations, and more.

Many law schools offer application fee waivers to conference attendees only.

In 2024, we welcomed more than 80 law schools, LSAT prep companies, and other vendors to the Law Expo, and we look forward to doing so again this year. If you have any questions about the Expo, contact Andrew Sagan at andrew@pad.org.
