Attorney, Founder & Director of The Center for Advocacy at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law

Professor David C. Schott is an accomplished trial attorney, law school professor, national lecturer on evidence and trial advocacy, and since 2008 he has served as the founder and director of The Center for Advocacy at the University of Denver Sturm College of law, one of the nation’s top-ranked law school trial advocacy departments.  In 2018, after a “lightning-bolt moment” while teaching Evidence, Professor Schott co-founded Trial Pro, LLC, the creators of the online Interactive Courtroom Simulator.  The “Sim” is a CLE-accredited educational resource that provides simulated, repetitive-spaced learning to over 35,000 attorneys, law professors and students nationwide (law school, college, and high school).   A self-described “evidence geek”, he has a passion for helping attorneys and students master their advocacy skills in "The Profession That Takes the Oath."
