Best Practices for 2021 Pre-Law Conference Expo Vendors

The following information is for expo registrants setting up their vendor booth on the virtual PheedLoop platform.

The Law Expo portion of the 2021 P.A.D. Pre-Law Conference will be Thursday, November 4 from 4:15pm – 6:00pm ET. Student attendees will have access to Pheedloop beginning November 2nd. Vendors are welcome to access PheedLoop now to set up your booth, engage with attendees starting on the 2nd, and continue to follow up with our attendees for 6 months post-event.

Vendors will receive an email directly from PheedLoop explaining how to log in to the platform. In the meantime, check out our information and tips below. The  conference FAQ can be found by clicking here, including basic FAQ about the PheedLoop platform.

Setting up Your Booth:
We strongly suggest that you bookmark your exhibitor portal link and take the time to perfect your organization's details. Once logged in, note the following suggestions:

  • Basics: Add the basics including important links, contact forms, your website, videos, logos, contact information, etc.
    • Highlight/feature what makes your school/company unique. Be sure to list in your booth’s description whether you’re offering law school application fee waivers, discounts/promos, or giveaways and how students can access them.

  • Booth Representatives: Ensure a representative is monitoring your booth throughout the conference and expo. You may add up to three (3) booth managers. Students may contact you before, during, or after the conference. Note: when a direct message is sent, you’ll be able to view it on the PheedLoop platform; an email notification will also be sent to the registered contact person.

Connecting with Students:

  • PheedLoop Chat: PheedLoop chat functions similarly to instant messenger. To chat with an attendee, locate “Networking” on the navigation bar and click “start chat” on the profile of the attendee you wish to message. Please note, chats will show up on the private chat tab on the bottom of the platform; the column on the side is a public chat that links to the main lobby page.

  • Virtual Meetings: We recommend Expo vendors set up virtual meetings with interested students during the Law Expo. You can do so by hosting an open meeting during the expo time or by providing a sign-up form where students register for individual meeting slots. Either way, the PheedLoop expo booths allow you to add an external meeting link which you’ll need to set up on your own preferred platform (Zoom, WebEx, etc.).

  • PheedLoop Announcements: Announcements will be made throughout the conference directing students to visit sponsor booths. Gold Level Sponsorships are $2,000 ($1,750 for existing expo registrants) and include a variety of benefits listed on the registration form including announcements, priority listing on the expo, materials in conference boxes being mailed to attendees, and more.

  • Direct Email: All vendors will receive a list of attendees with contact
information after the event. If you’d prefer to have students contact you directly outside of the platform, be sure to include your email and instructions on your booth.
