As law schools, colleges, and universities are beginning the fall, 2020 academic year, the safety of our members is our number one concern. Please hold all P.A.D. events and initiations remotely.

We are closely following the COVID-19 pandemic and realize most schools will not be operating traditionally this fall.

The Executive Office continues to work on providing resources for chapters to hold events and initiation ceremonies remotely. It is a time for us as an organization to pull together and think creatively to recruit new members, hold meaningful leadership training, and develop new and exciting programs for all members.

Visit our COVID-19 Information Page for the latest information on:

New this Semester:
During this semester, we will be communicating with all chapters to participate in the following:

Upcoming Events:

  1. The Pre-Law Conference and Law Expo will be reimagined and held virtually November 5-6, 2020 with a new pricing structure. We expect this to be our largest Pre-Law Conference in history!
  2. The Law School Mock Trial Competition will be a held online in February 2021 with a new and exciting format.

We, as brothers, sisters, and siblings of all membership levels, must work together to keep Phi Alpha Delta strong. This is our time to pivot and create amazing opportunities to honor our core values of compassion, courage, diversity, innovation, integrity, professionalism, and service.

All of you are in our thoughts. Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you.

Until we meet in person again.

Our Mission

Phi Alpha Delta is the world’s preeminent law fraternity because of our dedication to service: service to the student, the school, the profession, and the community.

It is through devotion to the ideals of Integrity, Compassion, Courage, Professionalism, Service, Diversity, and Innovation that we better both our profession and our community. Through accepting our differences we become not just a law fraternity, but a family.
