world: members of NIC, NPC, NALFO, NAPA, NMGC, NPHC, as well as unaffiliated culturallybased fraternities and sororities. As a broker, our role is to work with clients to advocate on their
behalf for the best insurance coverage at the best price. Additionally, at HMFP we are in the
relationship and education business and partner with our clients to provide resources,
templates, webinars, guidance, and educational programs. We are pleased to offer this webinar for staff, volunteer advisors and undergraduate officers
(Presidents, Risk Managers, Vice Presidents, New Member Educators, Social Chairmen) to share
information on insurance fundamentals, (e.g. who is covered, contract best practices) and
baseline risk management expectations, as well as provide valuable resources and answer
commonly asked questions.
If you have any topics/questions you would like answered, please email them to Dr. Lori Hart at
lhart@holmesmurphy.com or include your question when you register. Register HERE If you are unable to attend, please register to receive the recording. Holmes Murphy Fraternal Practice (HMFP) is a specialized division of Holmes Murphy & Associates, one of the largest independent insurance brokerage firms in the U.S. We proudly serve clients across NPHC, NPC, NALFO, PFA, NIC, NAPA, NMGC, PFA, and more. As your broker, our role goes beyond insurance placement—we partner with organizations, advisors, and members through education, resources, and practical guidance.
We invite you to join us for an engaging and informative webinar designed to cut through myths, fear-based messaging, and confusion surrounding liability and insurance in fraternity and sorority life.
This webinar is ideal for volunteer advisors and undergraduate officers, especially:
• Presidents
• Risk Managers
• Vice Presidents
• New Member Educators
• Social Chairs
• Entire chapters are welcome to attend
We’ll address common questions like:
• Am I personally liable?
• Can I get sued?
• Who is actually covered by insurance?
• What constitutes an “event”?
• Why do we have so many policies?
• What resources are available to support chapters and advisors?
Participants are encouraged to submit questions during registration so we can address real concerns during the session. If you are unable to attend live, please register anyway—we will share the recording with all registrants.
We look forward to learning with you and helping replace fear with clarity and confidence.
