Biography

Krista Garcia founded Power Legal LLC in Albuquerque after serving as an Assistant District Attorney for the State of New Mexico. While Krista is based in Albuquerque, her clients reach across New Mexico and her experience across the globe.  Power Legal LLC strives to bring quality legal serves to New Mexicans in need of criminal defense, family law, and estate planning services. Krista is passionate about helping her clients regain their voice and assert their rights in a system that can often be stacked against them. Krista is active in the New Mexico State Bar and is currently an Executive Board Member of the New Mexico Women's Bar Association and a Member at Large with the Young Lawyers Division. Krista was recently recognized by the New Mexico Legal Aid for her outstanding pro bono services provided in 2020.
