"Time Management Tips for Law School": Thursday, November 4, 3:00-4:00 PM Eastern (12:00-1:00 PM Pacific)

In this session, we will go over some helpful tips on how to manage your time wisely in law school so you can reduce stress and excel in your law school classes. If you struggle with time management or are worried about doing well your first year of law school, this presentation is for you. There will be time for a Q&A at the end, so bring your questions!

Heather Buck
Course Instructor & Tutor, JD Advising

Heather Buck, Esq., graduated cum laude and in the top 10% of her class at Wayne State University Law School. She received numerous scholarships and awards at Wayne State, including the Patrick J. Burkett Award, which is given to the top first-year law student in the Legal Research and Writing Course. She also served on the Wayne Law Review's Executive Board as the Production Editor. Heather has passed the Michigan Bar Exam and the California Bar Exam.

After law school, Heather spent about three years clerking for various judges at the Third Judicial Circuit of Michigan. She also has experience in no-fault litigation and contract and employment law.  At JD Advising, Heather teaches JD Advising’s Michigan Bar Exam, Uniform Bar Exam, and California Bar Exam courses. She also tutors private students for the bar exam, all first-year law school classes, and for the MPRE.

 

 

Hannah McNeece
Account Executive, JD Advising

Hannah McNeece attended the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. Hannah won distinctions in the Moot Court competition in law school, and she sat on the Student Bar Association e-board for three years. Hannah sat for and passed the Michigan Bar Exam in 2018 using JD Advising's Premium Course! Before coming to JD Advising, Hannah worked in family law for 10 years, and practiced in that field upon obtaining her law license.

Hannah is the Account Executive with JD Advising. Hannah assists students in finding the best fit for them whether it be prelaw, law school, or bar prep programs/services through JD Advising. She also works with law schools to create specialized programs for their students that provide early preparation for the bar exam.
