Resources for Pre-Law Chapter Officers
Resources for P.A.D. Pre-Law Chapter Officers

Being selected by your brothers and sisters to lead your chapter is an exciting honor that comes with many responsibilities. To assist you with these responsibilities, the Executive Office has published a variety of resources, guides, and handbooks for chapter officers.

This page includes the most commonly used documents and links that will help you as you lead your chapter.

Additional information, resources, and policy documents may be found on the Resources and Policies page. If you ever have any questions about the information on this page, need assistance with chapter operations, or need anything else, contact the Executive Office. We are here to help!

Recruitment and Membership

All students are encouraged to submit their P.A.D. membership application online. This is the fastest and most secure way to submit information (and environmentally friendly).

The P.A.D. website automatically sends a confirmation email to a member when their application is received online (as well as receipts for payments made). Online applications take 1-2 business days for approval.

Online Application

Membership records are kept and maintained solely at the Executive Office. Please complete this form if you need to access your chapter’s membership roster, including paid and unpaid members.

P.A.D. now offers virtual recruitment resources. The following includes virtual flyers, the P.A.D. brochure, social media images and videos, and more for your chapter’s use during recruitment.

Pre-Law Alumni (students who were members of a P.A.D. Pre-Law Chapter) can join a law chapter at a discounted rate. These graduated students only need to submit a form online to transition their membership from pre-law to law instead of submitting a new law chapter membership application. Follow the link below for the form and discount information.

Graduation & Senior Transition

If a student decides to transfer from one academic institution to another, their P.A.D. membership transfers with them. These students do not need to pay any international fees or be re-initiated, but they must be reported to the EO via the Transfer of Membership Form to ensure records are properly updated.

The Executive Office offers payment plans for the $125.00 Pre-Law Initiation Fee. A payment plan can be requested through the form below:
