What is the Leadership Summit?
The P.A.D. Leadership Summit is held every two years to bring together P.A.D. pre-law, law, and alumni members for networking, professional development, workshops, and guest speakers.

The event is designed to help chapter leaders gain personal and professional leadership skills that will help their local chapters and their individual leadership development.

The 2021 event will be held completely virtually and is P.A.D.’s fourth biennial Leadership Summit.


When is the Leadership Summit? What platform will be used for this virtual event?
The 2021 Leadership Summit will take place Friday, August 6, 2021 completely virtually. We will be using PheedLoop as the virtual platform (see more about PheedLoop below).


How much does it cost to attend Leadership Summit?
Leadership Summit registration options for P.A.D. members start at $15.00. Additional registration options are available for non-members; please contact katie@pad.org for pricing and information. See “Registration and Financing” below for details and payment plan options.


Why should I attend Leadership Summit?
The Leadership Summit offers programming and leadership training that will provide invaluable fraternal networking between all levels of P.A.D. membership, professional growth, and important resources for you and your chapter’s future success. Our simple, virtual format offers these tools in our most accessible format yet.

How much does Summit cost, and what does that fee include?
We are pleased to offer multiple registration options:

  • Member- Registration Only: $15.00; This registration option includes online access to all event content, including virtual platform and post-event recordings.
  • Registration PLUS Swag Box: $30.00; This registration option includes online access to all event content, including virtual platform and post-event recordings AND a box of Summit “swag”, which will be sent via mail after the event.
  • Non-members are welcome to attend. Please contact Director of Membership Katie Gibbs at katie@pad.org for pricing information.

Do I need to pay the registration fee when I register? Can I set up a payment plan?
No, you do not need to pay the registration fee when you register. We offer deferred payment options. We also offer interest-free and customizable payment plans to students and chapters. Plans are flexible in terms of due dates and amounts. Email katie@pad.org with payment plan questions.


Can I change my registration after I’ve already registered?
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your registration at any time by emailing katie@pad.org or calling the Executive Office (410-347-3118).


Is there a deadline to register for the Summit?
No, there is no deadline to register; you may register up to the start of the event on August 6 to attend live, or afterwards to receive access to recorded content.


What happens if I register but can't attend the scheduled sessions?
If you register but cannot attend the sessions, you still have access to all session recordings. You do not need to attend "live" to access. However, if you want to cancel your registration, please email katie@pad.org. Full refunds will be offered through July 15, 2021. You may also transfer your registration to another chapter member.



What is PheedLoop?
PheedLoop is an event hosting platform, available through webpage and mobile app, that enables P.A.D. to host all Summit sessions virtually. Attendees can use PheedLoop features to:

  • Browse the agenda and directly join virtual sessions
  • Network directly with fellow members and sponsors by digitially exchanging contact information
  • Download content from workshops and sessions
  • View session recordings after the event
  • Receive announcements and reminders about content and features

How do I access PheedLoop?
The PheedLoop platform will launch in late July and registered attendees will receive an email explaining how to access PheedLoop at that time. Existing registrants will automatically be added to the event on PheedLoop’s platform. Simply visit the webpage or download the free mobile app, create an account using the email address you used to register for conference, and you’ll see the information listed.

Do I need to download an app?
PheedLoop does offer a free mobile app, but downloading the app is not required. PheedLoop offers full functionality via webpage.


How do I attend the workshops and sessions?
The full agenda is listed on PheedLoop and you will be able to access the sessions directly from said agenda on the webpage or mobile app. Click on the session you would like to participate in to view details such as speaker information or the video stream link.


I'm having trouble using PheedLoop. Who should I contact?
If you are having a technical issue with the app, please contact PheedLoop directly at +1 (888) 360-5667 or support@pheedloop.com.

If you are having issues with P.A.D. content or sessions, please contact the Executive Office at 410-347-3118 or directly email Director of Tech Services Leslie Plummer at leslie@pad.org.


What Should We Wear for A Virtual Conference like Leadership Summit?
Aim to wear business or professional attire during speaker sessions and workshops. We encourage all attendees to have their cameras “on” for the sessions. Treat this like an in-person conference and stay engaged with the events.


Anything else I should know about Leadership Summit?
Remember, at the conference you are not only representing your chapter (and school, if applicable) you are also representing P.A.D. Be courteous to other attendees and be mindful of P.A.D.’s Event Code of Conduct.

Don’t forget to have some fun with your fellow P.A.D. members and make meaningful memories along the way!
