Biography: 
Katie Jackson-Lindsay is a nationally recognized criminal defense attorney and the Founder and Managing Attorney of Jackson Legal Services, P.C., serving clients across Indiana. A native of Indianapolis, she was raised on the city’s northwest side, attended Indianapolis Public Schools, and graduated from Northwest High School. She earned a Presidential Scholarship to Indiana State University, graduating magna cum laude with degrees in Political Science–Legal Studies and African and African American Studies.

Katie earned her Juris Doctor from Indiana University Maurer School of Law, where she distinguished herself in advocacy by receiving honors in oral advocacy in the Sherman Minton Moot Court Competition, competing on the National Trial Team, and being inducted into the Order of Barristers, one of the highest honors for courtroom advocacy.

A two-time Emmy Award winner (2025) for her legal analysis with WTHR-TV, including coverage of the Delphi murder trial, Katie has also received the National Bar Association’s Outstanding Woman Lawyer Award (2022), the Indiana Lawyer “Up and Coming Lawyer” Award (2021), and recognition as an Indiana Super Lawyer for Criminal Defense (2024–2026). She serves as President of the Indianapolis Bar Association (2026) and is the immediate past president of the Marion County Bar Association, where she also served on the Judicial Selection Committee. Widely respected for her fairness, integrity, and leadership, Katie remains deeply committed to justice, community service, and mentoring the next generation of legal professionals.
