Dr. Adrienne Shnier, B.A. (Hons.), M.A., Ph.D., J.D. is the Founder & CEO of Apply Yourself Global (AYG), a revolutionary space for student and professional success, support, and strategy to accelerate both personal and professional growth and achievement in alignment with your big goals. Informed by her decades of practical experience supporting her students and clients in their success, peak performance, and mindset, Dr. Shnier’s philosophy and approach to student success is revolutionary in academia and across professional sectors – strictly non-competitive in nature and focused only on you, engaging in high-level and detail-oriented training and skills-building with our clients daily and weekly to understand your mind, cognition, perception, decision-making, goal-setting, and the role of mindset in your continual achievement of success
using evidence-based strategies informed by neuroscience and psychology. Dr. Shnier is an Admissions Committee Member and brings her clients her knowledge and expertise from behind-the-scenes, inviting them into her experience and building their applications together, focused on the action-packed implementation of her strategies.
Dr. Shnier has been working with her clients at AYG since 2014, with a continued admissions success rate of 95% on her clients’ first application cycles to their graduate and professional programs across sectors. AYG also serves our clients in our 1:1 LSAT, MCAT, DAT, SAT and ACT Coaching program, Mastering Test Prep™, a groundbreaking, customizable approach to standardized testing that focuses on the individual and their learning style(s), personality, and life circumstances.
Dr. Shnier also brings her experience in the public and private sectors. As the Founder and Managing Partner of Shnier Mackenzie Law, her law firm has grown from a one-lawyer firm in 2020 to a team of lawyers and a paralegal at the firm office centrally located in Toronto. Shnier Mackenzie Law practices in health and business law. Dr. Shnier is also a Professor, teaching at York University since 2011 in the School of Health Policy & Management, School of Global Health, and Faculty of Graduate Studies. Dr. Shnier is also Program Director and Faculty in the Health Law LLM Program at Osgoode Professional Development at Osgoode Hall Law School.
