Join the Society of Scholars to become eligible for the Society of Scholars Scholarship by visiting pad.org/SOCIETYOFSCHOLARS.
To be eligible to apply for the scholarship, you must have all of the following qualifications: • A current and paid member of Phi Alpha Delta • A current and paid member of the Society of Scholars • Currently enrolled as a student and in good standing at your school
Application requirements: • Scholarship Application form (below) • Personal Essay: In roughly 500 words, share a time when you embodied the value of service within your chapter. Describe the event, how your contribution impacted your chapter, and how it influenced your development as an aspiring legal professional. Reflect on how this experience aligns with your professional commitment to service. • Pre-law Students: Submit a copy of your most recent transcript that can be passed on to the Scholarship Selection Committee. • Law Students: Submit a copy of your most recent transcript AND documentation including class rank that can be passed on to the Scholarship Selection Committee. (If your school does not rank, please note that on your application and only submit your transcript.) Application deadline is April 18, 2025.
