Are you interested in mentoring law students?

This is a reminder that the mentor application period is open for the 2023-2024 law student cycle of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity's G.O.L.D. (Growing Our Leadership Diversity) ProgramApplications are due by Tuesday, May 31, 2023. This program cycle will begin in July 2023 and end in May 2024.
Please read on if you are looking to help P.A.D. provide members of diverse backgrounds with the leadership skills to take on additional leadership roles in P.A.D. and in the legal profession.

MENTORS NEEDED
We are now seeking mentors for the 2023-2024 class of approximately 10-20 law students who:
  • Possess an identity, intersectionality, and/or demographics that can offer a unique perspective when working with students of diverse backgrounds 
  • Have time to commit approximately 1-3 hours per month between July 2023 and May 2024; and
  • Are currently in a legal or law-adjacent career.

PROGRAM DETAILS
Dates
: July 2023 - June 2024
Location: Predominantly virtual with optional attendance to the International Executive Board Meeting in Chicago, IL this August and/or the 2024 Law School Mock Trial Competition hosted in Arlington, VA next February.

**While we are actively seeking mentors for the 2023-2024 law student class, this is an annual program that will grow to also serve pre-law students in the coming years. If you are not selected as a mentor for the 2023-2024 law student class, you may still be considered for future law student and/or pre-law student cycles of the G.O.L.D. Program.
