Dear Siblings,

As the Chair of the 64th Biennial Convention Rules and Resolutions Committee for Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International, I am pleased to present the Rules Report prepared by the Committee. With the assistance of Executive Director Andrew Sagan, Deputy Director Emily Baranoski, and Committee Resource Person B.J. Maley, the Committee had meaningful discussions about how to ensure a fair and impartial election process while staying inclusive and safe for all of our members.

It is with this introduction and overview of the Committee’s work, that I ask you please join me in thanking the following Committee Members. It was inspiring to work with this team – they were thoughtful, hardworking, and always brought a positive attitude to the table.

  • Juan Pablo Figero
  • Braden Kundert
  • Kitty Maloney
  • Kimberly Minor, Clerk
  • Imani Muhammad
  • Jovon Thompson, Marshal

I would also like to thank Brother Sagan, Deputy Director Baranoski, and Brother Maley for all their guidance. It is through our teamwork, healthy debate, and open discussion that we accomplish much, and this process was a great example of that.

As the Rules Report will be the first order of business at the General Session #1 scheduled for Thursday August 4th, 2022 at 3:30PM Eastern, I would encourage all Delegates to review the proposed Rules in advance; click here to download the proposed Rules. If you have any other questions or concerns regarding the Rules Report prior to Thursday, please do not hesitate to contact me. I cannot wait to see so many of our siblings at #PADCon2022!

Fraternally,
