Join Phi Alpha Delta on Monday, May 16, 2022 at 8:00 pm Eastern Time/5:00 pm Pacific Time for the next installment of the P.A.D. Speaker Series.
Each year millions of Americans face the reality of living with a mental illness, and research has shown that lawyers are particularly prone to stress-related illnesses. With a constant cycle of high pressure and a fast-paced environment, attorneys and law students face significant stress but often are not provided with the tools and support they need to deal with this stress in a productive way.
This webinar, held during Mental Health Awareness Month, will feature a pre-recorded presentation from former New Hampshire Supreme Court Justice John T. Broderick. Judge Broderick will speak on the importance of learning how to recognize mental illness and how to destigmatize it by drawing from personal and professional experiences. Judge Broderick serves as Senior Director of External Affairs at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, where he leads the R.E.A.C.T. Mental Health Awareness Campaign, which provides individuals with tips about how to deal with signs of emotional suffering and with resources for support and help.
Following the pre-recorded presentation, Judge Broderick will join us live for a question and answer period and be honorarily initiated into Phi Alpha Delta's New Hampshire Statewide Alumni Chapter.
Mental Health Awareness Month takes place in May each year. For more information on this annual event and resources, please visit: This is a free presentation for P.A.D. members. Please register to reserve your spot. Our Presenter: |
