Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity International formally acknowledges the land of Indigenous peoples on which the P.A.D. Executive Office is located and encourages all in our community to share the following statement:
The Phi Alpha Delta Executive Office is located in Towson, Maryland upon the Indigenous homelands of the Nentego (Nanticoke), Piscataway, and Susquehannock peoples. We honor and offer respect to all Indigenous people connected to this place.

Phi Alpha Delta encourages P.A.D. chapters, members, and districts to establish local Indigenous land acknowledgement statements. Indigenous land acknowledgments can be given at chapter meetings, initiation ceremonies, District Transition & Leadership Conferences, and other events.
Chapters, members, and districts may consider planning service projects and events to support local Indigenous groups and Tribes. We encourage you to reach out to your local Tribal leadership, Tribal organizations, or Indigenous student organizations for best ways to support.

Phi Alpha Delta is the world’s preeminent law fraternity because of our dedication to service: service to the student, the school, the profession, and the community.
It is through devotion to the ideals of compassion, courage, diversity, innovation, integrity, professionalism, and service that we better both our profession and our community. Through accepting our differences we become not just a law fraternity, but a family.
