On behalf of your International Executive Board, we are pleased to present to you the report of the Governing Documents Review Committee. The report is comprised of seven documents - A Cover Memorandum, redlined versions of the Fraternity Policy Manual, "new" Awards Manual, and I.E.B. Policy Manual, as well as clean copies of these proposed documents.
The committee has been diligently working on these documents over the past ten months and has devoted numerous hours to provide membership with a more organized and current set of governing documents.
These documents have been designed to be reviewed in tandem. The cover memorandum contains the methodology that the committee used in tackling our charge, the standard was applied when determining where to place sections, and explains the format of our report. Most importantly it contains notes on edits made to the documents.
Phi Alpha Delta is the world’s preeminent law fraternity because of our dedication to service: service to the student, the school, the profession, and the community.
It is through devotion to the ideals of compassion, courage, diversity, innovation, integrity, professionalism, and service that we better both our profession and our community. Through accepting our differences we become not just a law fraternity, but a family.
