The Bar Exam is stressful even in the best of times, but the COVID-19 pandemic has added even more turmoil for test takers and bar examiners across the country. 2020 applicants to the bar are facing repeated delays, unprecedentedly long bar prep periods, software that wasn't developed for remote use, and a number of other unprecedented challenges.
Phi Alpha Delta hosted a discussion on how different U.S. jurisdictions are handling the situation. Some administered the July bar in person as usual and others have switched to remote online administration. A few states have even offered diploma privilege for graduates of ABA accredited law schools. This webinar is an overview of the various approaches and includes a round-table discussion about what is working and what isn't.
