19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution

Women's suffrage, the legal right of women to vote, was established nationally in the United States with the passage of the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution in August 1920. Today marks the 100th anniversary.

While a landmark moment in history, it would be several decades before all women had the right to vote, particularly women of color. While today is an important day to recognize, there is much more to be done.

In honor of the 100th anniversary, P.A.D. members are invited to help establish our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts to help grow our commitment to P.A.D. core values of diversity, compassion, courage, integrity, professionalism, innovation, and service.
