Rhonda HillRhonda Hill (Cole Chapter)
Past International Justice

Rhonda Hill is a native of Des Moines, Iowa. She attended Drake University for both her undergraduate and law degrees. Rhonda’s involvement in P.A.D. began as a law student in 1980 when she joined P.A.D.’s Chester C. Cole Chapter where she served as its Justice (1980–1981) and its delegate to the 1980 Biennial Convention.

Rhonda’s P.A.D. experience includes service as a District Justice for two different Districts and a member of two different Alumni Chapters. In 2002, she received the Fraternity’s Meritorious Service Award, at that time only one of two people to have received this recognition. In 2003, she was the International Executive Board’s facilitator for the creation of P.A.D.’s long-range strategic plan. She has participated in, organized or chaired numerous District Justice training sessions.

In 2006, she was elected to the International Executive Board as an At-Large Member. At the 2008 Convention, she was the 20th member inducted into the Distinguished Service Chapter, P.A.D.’s highest honor recognizing unusual and outstanding service to the Fraternity.

Also in 2008, Rhonda was elected International Justice and was again honored to be elected International Justice in 2010. She is the only woman to have served two terms as International Justice and is the only person since the 1950’s to serve concurrent terms as International Justice.

She has served two terms as Chair of the International Foundation and currently serves on its Advisory Board. At the 2016 Convention, she chaired the Nominations Committee. In 2020, she co-chaired the Fraternity’s first virtual Nominations Committee.

Rhonda and her husband Derek, whom she met at the 1980 P.A.D. Convention and who has also served as International Justice (2004–2006), currently reside in Scottsdale, Arizona.
