P.A.D. Speaker Series: Legal Writing - Sacred Cows and Pet Peeves
Monday, February 13, 2023 at 8:00 PM Eastern (5:00 PM Pacific)

Join Phi Alpha Delta on Monday, February 13, 2023 at 8:00 pm Eastern Time/5:00 pm Pacific Time for the next installment of the P.A.D. Speaker Series, "Legal Writing - Sacred Cows and Pet Peeves."

Good writing is many things, to many people, in many contexts. At some level, it is in the eyes of the beholder. But, at the core, good writing is telling a story. Good legal writing, in particular, can be limited by sacred cows (things we see a lot, but may not think about a lot) and pet peeves (things that cause readers to stumble). Join Hon. Samuel Thumma, moderated by Michelle Isherwood, for this fast-paced, entertaining, humorous program that will address sacred cows and pet peeves in legal writing. The program is designed for anyone who wants to avoid these limits in their legal writing.

This is a free presentation for P.A.D. members. Please click the 'Register' button above to RSVP for this session.
