Biography
Tanisha V. Henson, JD, MFS is currently a Deputy County Attorney with the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office in Arizona. She survived the online dumpster juice bar exam from October 2020 and began working in misdemeanor or “Justice Courts” and in mid-November was transferred to “Early Disposition Court” handling felony cases. Tanisha served as Justice for the Pepper Chapter (2018-2019) and as ADJ in District V beginning in 2021. She has worked as a certified Medicolegal Death Investigator in California, Virginia, and Florida. Tanisha is a Fellow in the General Section of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences and is the Vice Chair and a Trustee for the Forensic Sciences Foundation. She serves as the Chair of the Emerging Forensic Scientists Award and as the Chair for the BAFS/InterFORENSICS Scholarship. Tanisha lives in Phoenix, AZ with her two cats, Hershey aka Nugget and Osita aka Queen Little Bit. She has a deep passion and love for Target, tea, champagne, and absolute randomness. Two other passions frequently associated with Tanisha are the color purple and forensics
