Biography
Katie Borland, CAE, serves as the Deputy Director of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International where she leverages her extensive background in association management to drive strategic growth and member engagement. Katie recently earned the prestigious Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), underscoring her expertise in non-profit management, strategic operations, governance, and member engagement. Throughout her tenure with the fraternity, she has been instrumental in optimizing chapter operations, volunteer leadership development, and driving innovative strategies that support members throughout their legal education and careers. She is deeply passionate about ensuring that anyone with an interest in the legal field has access to the critical resources and fraternal network necessary to thrive and develop as impactful professional leaders.
At this year’s convention, Katie brings her specialized knowledge in association leadership and organizational communications through two high-impact sessions designed to strengthen fraternity infrastructure and sharpen communication skills. In “The Art of the Pitch: Perfecting Your Tabling and Recruitment Strategy,” she will lead a masterclass on turning standard recruitment into a strategic engine by refining elevator pitches and building cohesive identities. Simultaneously, drawing on her deep experience with organizational management, she will facilitate “The District Command Center: Strategic Oversight & Rapid Response Leadership,” an interactive simulation-driven session designed to transition District Justices from troubleshooters into proactive architects of regional success.
