Biography
Jhanalyn Blount is a corporate attorney with extensive experience in commercial transactions, privacy law, energy, and corporate governance. She currently serves as Principal Attorney at NextEra Energy, where she advises on contract negotiations, handles customer care matters from a legal perspective, manages collections and related litigation, and supports strategic business initiatives. Previously, she served as Corporate Counsel for Kinesso, where she focused on advertising technology, marketing technology, data privacy, and global commercial agreements, earning both CIPP/US and CIPP/E privacy certifications.

Jhanalyn holds a JD/MBA from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, along with degrees in Marketing and International & Global Affairs. She serves as International Marshal for Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International and is actively involved with the Houston Lawyers Association, Junior League of Houston, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. An avid traveler, she is passionate about leadership, service, and fostering meaningful connections across cultures.
