Dear Brothers, Sisters, and Siblings,

There are many opportunities for you to volunteer with Phi Alpha Delta. Perhaps the most valuable role that you can fill is to serve as a District Justice (DJ) for the 2024-2026 term.

If you ask any current or former District Justice, they will tell you that their service in the DJ role has been deeply rewarding. It is no secret that DJs are the backbone of Phi Alpha Delta. Without them, Phi Alpha Delta cannot succeed in its goal of service to the student, the school, the profession, and the community.

I am looking for volunteers to serve as District Justices in the geographical Districts of 2, 3, 5, 9, 12, 14, 16, 18, 24, 27, 28, 29, 31.

DISTRICT JUSTICE VACANCIES:

  • District 2: California north of the Tehachapi Mountains
  • District 3: Los Angeles County
  • District 5: Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico
  • District 9: Southern Texas
  • District 12: Michigan and Ontario, Canada west of London
  • District 14: Northern and Central Ohio
  • District 16: Louisiana and Mississippi

  • District 29: Long Island, Islip, Brooklyn, Queens
  • District 31: Northern Texas

If you are interested in serving as the District Justice, please let Executive Director Andrew Sagan know by emailing him at andrew@pad.org.

Provide the following:

  • Your name, contact information, chapter, and district
  • The district you are volunteering to serve
  • An expression of interest, including relevant experience and any other information you believe to be relevant
  • A PAD résumé.

Because the term for new District Justices begins on December 1, 2024, I would like to receive these applications in time for our October IEB meeting. If you are interested, it would be helpful if you could provide your application materials by the close of business on Wednesday, September 18th.

If you are interested in other P.A.D. Volunteer opportunities, please complete the Volunteer Opportunities Form.

Fraternally,

John Karasek
International Justice
