On Saturday May 18 2024, I received the 2024 Nominations Committee Report. As promised, I am providing it to the membership within one (1) business day of receipt.
As you will see in the report, the Nominations Committee met six (6) times for a total of 17.5 hours. What is not reflected in the report is the amount of time committee members spent reviewing candidate materials, preparing for candidate interviews, and otherwise reflecting on the candidates that came before them prior to beginning their deliberations. Please join me in thanking all members of the Nominations Committee for devoting their time over the past three (3) months to vet all fifteen (15) candidates that came before them.
I ask all members to remember that the Nominations Committee Report should serve as guidance for those members who will have voting credentials at Convention. All candidates who participated in the nominations process, as well as any member in good standing, have a right to be considered for a position on the International Executive Board or International Tribunal by the International Chapter at Convention assembled.
Over the coming weeks, I will be working with the Executive Office to finalize the details for the upcoming Candidate Forums. I encourage all members to attend so you can learn more about the candidates for each position and play an active role in deciding the future of the Fraternity.
If you have any questions about the 2024 Nominations Committee Report or the upcoming Candidate Forums, please contact me directly.
