Phi Alpha Delta stands in solidarity with our communities of color as the nation is shaken by yet another traumatic loss of Black life, 20-year-old Daunte Wright. Phi Alpha Delta denounces all acts of racism. We stand with Daunte’s family, his local communities, and our communities of color as we are fueled to work toward long-lasting change.

As Phi Alpha Delta members, we are continuously working to better support our vulnerable communities and the legal profession through our core values of compassion, courage, diversity, innovation, integrity, professionalism, and service.

Together P.A.D.’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Advisory Council; the P.A.D. Executive Office staff; the International Executive Board; and the P.A.D. International Foundation will work to provide necessary resources and information through our national events, media channels, and programming.

Though not specifically regarding Daunte Wright, P.A.D. members are invited to join the P.A.D. Minnesota Statewide Alumni Chapter as they continue their virtual series on race on April 21 at 12pm CST https://fb.me/e/18NTuBdzB

You have a voice in P.A.D., and we want to hear it. We encourage P.A.D. brothers, sisters, and siblings to feel empowered to check-in as we implement our DEI programs, initiatives, and general support. Your input is important. www.PAD.org/SuggestionBox

If you need support from Phi Alpha Delta in the wake of Daunte Wright’s death, please contact us. We are here for our P.A.D. family. The Executive Office can be reached directly at 410-347-3118.
