Notice Regarding Nominations Committee
Brothers and Sisters,
After seeking the advice and consent of the International Executive Board, please take notice that on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at approximately 8:15 p.m. Eastern I directed the Nominations Committee Co-Chairs to accept statements of intent from any additional candidates who seek to run for the International Executive Board or International Tribunal. Therefore, any member who has not yet submitted a statement of intent declaring his or her intention to run for the International Executive Board or International Tribunal will have until Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. Eastern to submit a written statement of intent and supporting materials, not to exceed three (3) pages, to the Executive Director, Andrew Sagan and to the Nominations Committee Co-Chairs, J. Derek Hill and Rhonda Hill. Any candidate who previously submitted a statement of intent prior to the previously announced April 7, 2020 deadline need not resubmit a written statement of intent or supporting materials.
Additionally, please take notice I have amended the charge I gave to the Nominations Committee and directed its Co-Chairs to provide me with the Nominations Committee Report on or before Thursday July 23, 2020. In my capacity as International Justice, I shall thereafter submit the Nominations Committee Report to the Executive Director on or before Friday July 24, 2020 for immediate distribution to the membership of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International.
After the Nominations Committee Report has been published, any member not slated by the Nominations Committee for a position on the International Executive Board or International Tribunal who would like to run from “the floor” must submit a written statement of intent and supporting materials, not to exceed three (3) pages, no later than Wednesday July 29, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. Eastern. Further, I have directed the Executive Director to post written statements of intent along with any supporting materials for any additional candidates who submit their statement of intent by the June 23, 2020 deadline on the P.A.D. website within twenty (24) hours of receipt. The written statements of intent and supporting materials for candidates who previously submitted their statement of intent prior to the April 7, 2020 deadline have already been posted to the P.A.D. website and can be found here.
Should you have any questions regarding this Notice, please contact me via email.
Fraternally,
