Congratulations to the Winners of the 2020 P.A.D. Law School Mock Trial Competition!

This past weekend, P.A.D. hosted the 13th annual Law School Mock Trial Competition in Arlington, VA. We were pleased to welcome 24 teams from 18 different law schools from across the country. Congratulations to the award winners from this year's competition!

First Place: Garland Chapter

Second Place: Magruder Chapter

Third Place: Penn Chapter, Team 1

Fourth Place: Starr Chapter

Outstanding Prosecution: Rayburn Chapter

Outstanding Defense: Terrell Chapter, Team 1

Outstanding Advocate: Kelly Franklin (Magruder Chapter)

Outstanding Witness: Duncan Street (Garland Chapter)

Outstanding Fraternalism: Lamar Chapter

The P.A.D. Law School Mock Trial Competition is an annual competition where teams from P.A.D. law chapters across the country compete for first through fourth place, with additional honors for outstanding defense, prosecution, advocates, and witnesses awarded. The competition is judged by volunteer lawyers & judges (both P.A.D. alumni and non-members) and Mock Trial veterans who offer invaluable, real-world feedback.
