Today marks the start of P.A.D. Spirit Week! Members and chapters are encouraged to purchase fabric and start working on the national service project of the week- donating blankets to Project Linus.
Project Linus provides homemade blankets and quilts to children in all 50 states who are hospitalized, in shelters, at social service agencies, or anywhere that a child is in need of a big hug! There are many options in making blankets; please visit the Project Linus pattern and links site for ideas.
To help fund your community service project, the Phi Alpha Delta International Foundation’s Inspiration Fund will reimburse the material cost to make the blankets. To request reimbursement, please fill out the form below.
Phi Alpha Delta is the world’s preeminent law fraternity because of our dedication to service: service to the student, the school, the profession, and the community.
It is through devotion to the ideals of Integrity, Compassion, Courage, Professionalism, Service, Diversity, and Innovation that we better both our profession and our community. Through accepting our differences we become not just a law fraternity, but a family.
