About Vivian Windham
Vivian Windham was a Watson Jr. Chapter 1L at Lincoln Memorial University - Duncan School of Law in Knoxville Tennessee when she passed away. In her first year she successfully organized a local “lunch and learn” with Big Fire Law Firm to present on diversity in the law with Native Americans.
Outside of P.A.D., Vivian played center for the Omaha Nighthawks women’s professional football team and volunteered as a member of the Nebraska State Foster Care Review Board, Habitat for Humanity, and numerous other organizations that focus on helping victims of domestic violence.
She was filled with passion for art, music, friends, family, and football. She was often seen in her San Francisco 49ers gear or cheering “Go Big Red” for the Huskers she loved to watch play.
She bled purple and gold and, even when she was not as strong, Vivian still attended P.A.D. events and chapter meetings and loved to talk about P.A.D. to anyone she spoke to. Vivian would have wanted to attend the 2022 P.A.D. Convention, but in her honor Watson Jr. Chapter maintains this fund’s grant to send chapter members to future conventions.
