Back to in an in-person format for the first time since 2019, Mock Trial is an annual competition held in conjunction with the Annual P.A.D. Pre-Law Conference, being held November 2-5, 2022 in Arlington, VA. Teams of four from P.A.D. pre-law chapters across the country compete for first through fourth place, with additional honors for Outstanding Advocate and Outstanding Witness.

Up to twelve (12) teams will be accepted for the 2022 Competition, so register now to be sure your chapter is represented. Team registration for a team of four is just $150* and includes all competition materials and coaches who may want to attend with the team.

The competition is judged by volunteer trial lawyers and judges who will provide real-world feedback and advice to competitors. Don’t miss the chance for your members to gain trial skills and prepare for a future legal career.

This webinar focused on what students can do this semester to prepare for law school. We will help you get organized, understand what you need to do, and make a schedule for doing it. Though this will be most directly helpful for students planning to apply to law school this year, it will also be helpful for those that plan to apply in the future year so they can be aware of everything they need to do and have a plan in place when the time comes.

The LBA ¡Ándale! Scholarship includes registration for an LSAT prep course ($1,299 value), one LSAT examination application fee ($200 value), the Credential Assembly Service fee ($195 value), and one LSAT law school report ($45 value). The LBA will work with the awardees and tender payment for fees directly to the course provider and reimburse students for the LSAT fees listed.

To be eligible, applicants must:

• Have earned, or be on track to earn by 2023, a Bachelor of Arts degree from an accredited four-year college or university (i.e., current seniors);
• Self-identify as Latino/Latinx/Hispanic;
• Be eligible to register and attend an LSAT prep course in 2023;
• Plan to sit for the LSAT in 2023;
• Plan to apply to law school for the 2023 or 2024 cohort (spring or fall); and
• Demonstrate a financial need.
• Ties to Nevada are preferred but not required.
