Sec. 10.7 of the Fraternity Policy Manual

 

Individuals:
Members of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International (P.A.D.) shall refrain from using “Phi Alpha Delta,” “P.A.D.,” or any name meant to refer to the Fraternity, it’s chapters or membership in any content, pictures, graphics or unlicensed music used in any electronic media that are inconsistent with the Mission, Vision, Core Values or Purpose of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International.
 
Chapter Pages:
Chapters of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International (P.A.D.) shall refrain from using “Phi Alpha Delta,” “P.A.D.,” or any name meant to refer to the Fraternity, it’s chapters or membership in any content, pictures, graphics or unlicensed music used in any electronic media that are inconsistent with the Mission, Vision, Core Values or Purpose of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International.
 
                      
1. Title
When creating a page, members should identify themselves properly. The title must contain both the chapter name and reference to Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International.
                      
2. Logo Usage
Social media pages are subject to the P.A.D. Crest/Logo Usage Guidelines available at www.pad.org.
 
3. Limit
A chapter should only have one page per networking site. When possible, chapters should link the content of various networking sites to ensure all pages have up-to-date information.
                      
4. Content
Social media pages are strictly for the use of posting official chapter news, events and other relevant content. Any member may request that their picture or information not be published.
 
The following may not be posted on a chapter page:
  1. Privileged or private information
  2. Disrespectful or negative comments
  3. A stance on religious, political or social issues. However, this does not preclude a chapter from posting a notice of a particular event or speaker in which a particular stance is taken.
  4. Personal information about any individual who does not consent in writing to such posting
  5. Content pertaining to illegal, unprofessional or inappropriate conduct of the chapter or its members
  6. Announcements of an unofficial or individual event(s)
  7. Postings that may be viewed as discrimination, harassment or cyber-bullying
  8. Music, links, or photos without license to use
 
The following must be posted on the chapter page:
  1. A link to the Fraternity website (www.pad.org)
  2. Current and accurate information regarding the Fraternity
  3. Identification as a professional organization page
  4. Current list of officers and advisors
  5. Contact information for the Executive Office
  6. Acknowledgment that Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International is not responsible for third party conduct
  7. A link to the Fraternity’s website disclaimer
 
Chapters and members at all times shall adhere to school policies regarding social networking sites, policies and procedures of the networking site and all local, state and federal laws. Any chapter violating these guidelines shall be referred to the International Executive Board for further action.
