Andrew D. Sagan began his career with Phi Alpha Delta as Communications Director in November 1999. He came to P.A.D. from Easter Seals Wisconsin where he was the Director of Public Relations. Before Easter Seals, Andrew was employed at Pace Publications, the largest direct mail company in the country at that time, as List and Database Manager. While Assistant Executive Director with P.A.D., Andrew was hired as the Executive Director of the Professional Fraternity Association in 2002 and remained in that post until 2008.
Andrew was promoted to Assistant Executive Director and later, Executive Director in January 2008. He was instrumental in bringing the electronic age to Phi Alpha Delta including new website functionality and database technology. Andrew also likes to go back to his graphic design roots on occasion and is known to change things up for P.A.D. now and then.
In 2009, Andrew celebrated his 10th anniversary with P.A.D. In 2010, at the 58th Biennial Convention in Tampa, Andrew was surprised at the Key Volunteers Reception when he was initiated as an Honorary Member of the NCAA Chapter. “Being a P.A.D. Member is one of the greatest honors of my life,” said Andrew upon receiving the news of his membership.
Andrew attended Mt. St. Clare College in Clinton, Iowa and Aurora University in Aurora, Illinois graduating with the Dean’s Award for the highest grade point average in the School of Business and Communication.
In 2012 Andrew developed the Alumni Relations department to enhance the P.A.D. network. The department has since grown under the direction of Cory Freeman and has been according to Andrew, “The most important asset development we have done in ten years!” In 2013, Andrew played a critical role in moving the International Headquarters to Towson, Maryland from its previous downtown location to save costs and capitalize on its investment.
