Kathleen Maloney
Kathleen (Kitty) Maloney received her B.A in psychology from California State University at Long Beach in 1992, her M.B.A from the University of LaVerne in 1994 and her J.D from Hofstra University School of Law in 1999. During law school Kitty was initiated into the John F. Kennedy Chapter in October of 1996. During her second year of law school she served as Chapter Justice. Kennedy Chapter saw a great regrowth in programming and new members (147) during her tenure as Justice. At the 1998 Convention in Scottsdale, AZ, Kennedy Chapter received the Stan Kohn Outstanding Law School Chapter award and Kitty received the Alex Hotchkiss Outstanding Law School Chapter Justice award. During her 3rd year of law school, she served as Assistant District XX Justice. In 1999 Kitty relocated to the Washington, DC region. She served as District XXIII Justice (1999-2001), member of Alumni Advisory Council (2002-2004), National Capital Area Alumni Chapter Justice (2002 -2004), Associate Tribune (2004 - 2006), Chief Tribune (2006 - 2010) International Board Member-at-Large (2010 - 2012) and International Secretary (2012 - Present).
Kitty currently is the Staff Attorney Manager for Covington & Burling in the Washington, DC office. Previous to joining Covington & Burling, Kitty was the National Director of eDiscovery Solutions for Lex On Demand specializing in electronic discovery solutions, project management and Litigation Support Management. Prior to law school Kitty worked for Northrop Grumman and Oroamerica. She is admitted to practice in New York, Maryland, the District of Columbia and the Supreme Court of the United States. She currently resides in Alexandria, Virginia. In her spare time, Kitty is a wine/food blogger and enjoys half marathons, travel, sports and photography.
